This project was part of NZ Frenzy by Spaceships, an initiative to turn a legacy New Zealand travel guide into a modern, digital content platform.
Originally created by Scott Cook after 900 days of travel, the guide captures hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path experiences. The goal was to bring this knowledge to a new generation through creator-led storytelling.
Part one was a hero brand film focused on the experience of traveling New Zealand in a Spaceships van — capturing the feeling of freedom, spontaneity, and discovery.
Part two involved turning sections of the guidebook into video content, transforming static information into immersive, real-world stories.
Together, the project builds a scalable travel content ecosystem that makes the original guide more engaging and relevant today.
